You shouldn’t have to hide going to therapy. It also isn’t something you go to ONLY when you are at your lowest or breaking point. We believe therapy is a healthy outlet for stress, personal reflection, and growth that can be used by anyone at any time! My Therapy Club is about celebrating our desire to grow and change for the better. Sharing our therapeutic experiences and being vulnerable helps to break stigma surrounding mental health. To that end, we believe as mental health professionals having an active presence on social media helps provide information and busts myths that have held back the profession. Like.. us therapists are real people who have (and DO) struggle at times and have used the process of reflection and expression to rise up.
